Owners/Director/Coach
Tony and Sarah have 9 children, 7 of which have been cheerleaders from Pop Warner, PAL, Middle School, High School, College Level, All Star National Champions to International in another country.
After 25 years of coaching experience, but Sarah being in the Cheer World for 32 years, God had a plan for us to build a program for our Family.
We want a place where our youth can be accepted, build their skills, character and grow their families with their team mates.
After several years, Sarah and her oldest son Josh talked about building a team of their own, 2024-2025 was their time.
Sarah, Tony, Josh came out of Cheer retirement to help out a sideline cheer team, within just two months we took this
Novice team to Nationals and made Top 10.
We ended our season as Nor Cal Challenge Cup Champions and State Champions!
After careful consideration and prayer, we decided to create our own team and our own brand. As there are a lot of Cheer Gyms around the area who we love and respect and look to for inspiration.
We felt we needed something of our own that reflected our experiences, beliefs and guidance.
Sarah has a passion for everyone and feels that everyone belongs somewhere and deserves to have a family. Everyone deserves a chance to find their purpose. Through connection, collaboration and choice she and her partners decided on the name of 'Ohana.
With a heavy heart she lost her best friend to suicide and wanted to show her support for those who are lost and need a purpose by the colors of our gym. Our Gym welcomes everyone and anyone to join because we are your 'Ohana and want everyone to feel seen.
We might be a new team but we are not new to cheer.
So here we are ready to ride the wave that God has put in front of us.

Partners / Head Coach (Velocity)
Dymon and Elijah Brass, very dedicated Christian family with 4 children. All who are very active in the church and sports. They own a non-profit track club called "GodSpeed", this power couple has dedicated their lives to the youth and guiding them to better themselves through faith and through sports.
Dymon herself has cheered her whole life. She loves to dance and was the main flyer in her cheer teams. She spent 10 seasons coaching at Cesar Chavez High School in Stockton. She coaches with such enthusiasm and passion for this sport. You will catch her always dancing with a huge smile and she still has IT, showing the girls jumps, kicks and even flying!
Partners / Head Coach (Surge)
Inez and Joe Salaiz, have 6 children who are all involved in several sports or hobbies these two are all about their family. Residing in River Islands they have dedicated their lives to her kids and their sports. After have girl after girl Joe finally got his boy!
Inez Salaiz started off with dance and recreational gymnastic as little girl. She quickly fell into competitive soccer. Always trying to find time to dance!! She was able to teach level 1 gymnastics for 2 yrs. She finally went full cheerleader her freshman year of high school. Senior year, she was varsity cheerleading captain. 6 years of cheer coaching under belt and 2 years as a sideline cheer director.
State Champions (Bakersfield CA)
Overcoming several changes in the week before competition due to team illnesses, having a few of our team mates not doing well backstage and not hitting our routine minutes before stepping on stage - Our Ohana gave it their all and WON State Champions!
Nor Cal Cup Championships (Stockton CA)
With a few more changes from the State Championships, we did it again. Our Ohana now with 5 competitions under their belt, knew what it took when we said LEAVE IT ALL ON THE MAT!!! And they did once again for our last competition of the season. They walked away with another ring as Nor Cal Cup Champions 2025.
